About the Lekhini .....

1. What?

Lekhini is the web tool that generates the Telugu script.  It facilitates the creation of information on the Internet in the Telugu language.

2. Why?

At present the Telugu script  tools and methods available to the Telugu people are very meager. As you know, it is very difficult even for those who are very familiar with computers because it is a different field i.e., language.  An effort is made to make it easy by which even  those who got a minimum knowledge of computers can use easily for their day to-day use and enjoy their own mother tongue.

3. How?

Type the English spelling of Telugu word (from RTS format)  it is changed to Telugu script (to Unicode format).  The technology used is from the Padma (another script transformer).  Now click on Lekhini and use and enjoy.

ఏమిటి?

లేఖిని అనేది తెలుగు లిపిని సృష్టించే ఒక వెబ్ ఉపకరణము. ఇంటర్నెట్‌లో తెలుగు సమాచార సృష్టిని ఇది సులభతరం చేస్తుంది.

ఎందుకు?

కంప్యుటర్‌లో తెలుగు లిపిని సృష్టించడానికి ప్రస్తుతం అందుబాటులో ఉన్న సాధనాలు మరియు విధానాలు స్వల్పం. వాటిని ఉపయోగించడం కంప్యూటర్ బాగా తెలిసిన వాళ్ళకే చాలా కష్టం. కంప్యూటర్‌తో అంతగా పరిచయంలేని వారికి కూడా ఉపయోగపడే విధంగా, మరింత మెరుగైన పద్దతులకోసం లేఖిని ఒక చిన్న ప్రయత్నం.

ఎలా?

మీరు ఇంగ్లీష్ స్పెల్లింగులతో ఇచ్చిన తెలుగు సందేశాన్ని (RTS ఫార్మాట్‌నుండి) తెలుగు లిపిలోకి (Unicode ఫార్మాట్‌లోకి) లేఖిని మారుస్తుంది. ఇందుకు ఉపయోగించిన సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానమంతా పద్మ (మరియొక లిపి transformer) నుండి సంగ్రహించబడింది.
